Audi and two French distributors of natural gas new members of NGVA Europe

The German car maker Audi and the French distribution and transmission pipeline operators of natural gas GRDF and GRTgaz recently became members of NGVA Europe. Audi produces cars on natural gas and is also pioneering in the production of synthetic natural gas through excess energy from windturbines (power to gas). GRDF (Gaz Réseau Distribution France) is a subsidiary of ENGI and connected to 11 million end users and has an established distribution system in 9500 cities. GRTGaz focuses on high pressure pipelines in Europe, they own and operate 32000 km pipeline, mainly in France. It is partly owned by  ENGI (75%) and by Society d'infrastructures Gaziers.
